Ett axioms öden och äventyr

Roade mig nu på morgonen att leta efter förvrängningar av det axiom som Abraham Lincoln myntade, nämligen: “You can please some of the people all of the time and all of the people some of the time, but you can't please all of the people all of the time.” Ett hyfsat svårt axiom att komma ihåg där det gäller att spika some-all all-some all-all vid varje stressat enskilt tillfälle. En del bryr sig inte om att försöka utan hittar på egna, lite finurliga axiom, som de sedan lägger vid Lincolns eller någon annans fötter. Främst den ofta citerade Anonym. Ta till exempel:
“You can't please all of the people all of the time, only some of the people some of the time; depending on their mood.”
“You Can Please Some of the People Some of the Time. But Can You Please All the People All the Time?”
“You can please some of the people some of the time ...... but then you can't”.
“You can't even please some of the people some of the time, so why try”.
“You can please some of the people, some of the time, but you can't please all of the people, all of the time.”
“You can please most of the people most of the time…”

Sensmoralen kan vara att inte överskatta varken odödligheten hos skribenten eller det skrivnas odödlighet. Ordet är fritt. Allt flyter eller sjunker i den underbara soppa av mänsklig interaktion som både förfärar och förför.
